✓ Conduct GST Audits & Assessments and ensure regular compliance.
✓ Ensure timely submission of GST compliance filings.
✓ Manage TDS/TCS compliances.
✓ Oversee allied compliances such as PF, Professional Tax (PTAX), ESIC, and Shop Establishment Act.
✓ Handle Income Tax Return compliances.
✓ Ensure timely filing of 15CA/CB forms.
✓ Continuously update knowledge on tax laws and implement internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
✓ Monitor and ensure adherence to changing tax laws and regulations.
✓ Manage and coordinate tax audits, including preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
✓ Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
✓ Provide guidance on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
✓ Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to integrate tax planning into the overall financial strategy.
✓ Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals, offering guidance and support in daily operations.
✓ Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of all tax-related activities.
✓ Prepare and present regular reports on tax compliance and planning to senior management.
✓ Liaisioning with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
What We Expect of You Essential
Educational & Functional Qualifications
✓ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or semi qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred.
✓ Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
✓ In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
✓ Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft EXCEL.
✓ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Experiences
✓ Handled GST Audit in individual capacity.
