Job Overview

Summary of the role

An Instructional Designer is responsible for developing instructional material, such as customer training courses, that help support the company's technical products. For that purpose, an instructional designer is tasked with creating the material that helps all types of users to understand the product better.

The Key responsibilities include:

Analyze instructional design project requirements and work with PM around scope and solution
Support instructional design needs as instructed
Using common tools and templates, design and develop learning deliverables in line with project scope
Provide regular updates to project manager
Escalate any issues affecting timeliness or scope of instructional design/development project
Develop training materials associated with the project including instructor guides, participant guides, hands-on activities, handouts, diagrams and pictures, job aids and self-study materials
Collaborate with subject matter experts
Create storyboards and design specifications to be used as blueprint instructions for content development
Software technical course content development experience is preferred
Good to have rapid authoring tools experience such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia.

Education and Experience:

Graduates/Post-Graduates with BE/BTech/M.E/MTech/MSc/MCA
2-7 years of related experience required
