Job Title: Senior Purchase Executive - Interior Design and Product Company
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage purchasing strategies to optimize cost efficiency and quality for interior design products.
- Source, negotiate, and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to strengthen procurement processes and ensure product availability.
- Collaborate closely with the design and sales teams to understand product requirements and align purchasing decisions with project timelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records and inventory levels, ensuring compliance with budgets.
- Conduct regular audits of supplier contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with company standards and procurement policies.
- Forecast demand and proactively manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform purchasing decisions and product selection.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within the interior design or related product industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market dynamics.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers and internal teams.
- High level of organization and attention to detail, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the interior design or home furnishings sector.
- Familiarity with product specifications, design trends, and sustainable sourcing practices is a plus.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPP, CPM) is an advantage.
